Le terrain de jeu d\u2019aventure en bas de la route de l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 j\u2019ai grandi \u00e9tait tout droit sorti du livre de Marjorie Allen. Et par l\u00e0, je veux dire largement dangereux, impliquant toujours des mat\u00e9riaux de construction lourds, de hauts toboggans et de l\u2019eau stagnante profonde.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Quand j\u2019ai d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 dans le Devon \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de dix ans, je vivais pr\u00e8s de la rivi\u00e8re Erme et une journ\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 typique consistait \u00e0 jouer dans et autour de l\u2019eau sans surveillance ni gilet de sauvetage. Les enfants sont rarement expos\u00e9s \u00e0 des risques sous quelque forme que ce soit, et encore moins \u00e0 un danger r\u00e9el. Le monde est un endroit beaucoup plus surveill\u00e9, mais ce n\u2019est absolument pas la m\u00eame chose.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Et cela n\u2019a fait aucun bien aux enfants. La plupart des enfants au Royaume-Uni et aux \u00c9tats-Unis semblent interagir principalement avec leurs amis en ligne, car ils n\u2019ont aucune libert\u00e9 de d\u00e9couverte, sauf en ligne et via des consoles de jeux \u00e9lectroniques. Il n\u2019y a pas d\u2019endroit pour qu\u2019ils parlent de leurs sentiments, de leurs r\u00eaves ou de leurs peurs. Une journ\u00e9e de jeu dans les bois et d\u2019escalade le long d\u2019une rivi\u00e8re au d\u00e9bit rapide permet \u00e0 tout cela ou \u00e0 rien de tout cela de sortir, selon ce que vous ressentez et avec qui vous \u00eates.     <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ce n\u2019est pas une co\u00efncidence si, selon le NHS au Royaume-Uni, les blessures caus\u00e9es par les chutes d\u2019arbres ont chut\u00e9 de 34 % entre 2008 et 2018. Les blessures RSI caus\u00e9es par les manettes de jeux ont augment\u00e9 de 62 % et la statistique la plus triste de toutes est que les blessures dues \u00e0 l\u2019automutilation intentionnelle avec un objet tranchant ont augment\u00e9 de 270 % au cours de la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode de dix ans. Le peu que nous mangeons maintenant n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 mang\u00e9 par les humains auparavant, c\u2019est pourquoi tant d\u2019entre nous en tombent malades.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Et la m\u00eame chose s\u2019est produite avec une grande partie des pi\u00e8ces disponibles pour les familles.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Les aires de jeux avec des fosses \u00e0 balles g\u00e9antes en plastique sont l\u2019ennemi jur\u00e9 du jeu organique. Ils permettent aux enfants de d\u00e9penser de l\u2019\u00e9nergie sans utiliser leur imagination dans ce qu\u2019ils font. C\u2019est un jeu vide comme le fumier calorique dense d\u2019aliments ultra transform\u00e9s. L\u2019imagination a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pouill\u00e9e, laissant peu de valeur derri\u00e8re elle.     <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Quand vous regardez le jeu bas\u00e9 sur l\u2019IP, cela a tellement \u00e9volu\u00e9 que cela ne peut jamais revenir \u00e0 ce qu\u2019il \u00e9tait. Le meilleur exemple de cela, c\u2019est pour moi, Charlie et la chocolaterie. En tant qu\u2019enfant, c\u2019est l\u2019un des livres les plus puissants visuellement que vous puissiez lire. Votre imagination a cr\u00e9\u00e9 un lieu magique avec une rivi\u00e8re de chocolat profonde et luxueuse qui baratte le chocolat, exactement comme d\u00e9crit par Roald Dahl.     <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mais, Willy Wonka et la chocolaterie, le film de 1971 avec Gene Wilder, avait une rivi\u00e8re qui \u00e9tait si mince et si d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able qu\u2019elle a ruin\u00e9 tout le film. Les versions ult\u00e9rieures avec Johnny Depp en 2005 et Wonka en 2023 sans la rivi\u00e8re, mais avec une flaque mortelle de chocolat et les effets les plus incroyables, ont fait toute l\u2019imagination pour vous. Ils \u00e9taient parfaits, mais laissaient peu de choses \u00e0 votre esprit pour les traiter  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Brillant pour un film. Pauvre pour le jeu.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Et c\u2019est pour nous la raison pour laquelle la plupart des jeux bas\u00e9s sur IP sont passifs. Vous \u00eates assis l\u00e0 \u00e0 attendre d\u2019\u00eatre diverti ou vous vous promenez dans une zone o\u00f9 l\u2019imagination est expos\u00e9e et souvent incroyable.
