The attraction will cover a site larger than a football field and celebrate the rich heritage of the 18th-century baroque Palace, its surrounding parkland and the natural world. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Utilising natural materials and built to be as sustainable as possible it will incorporate a series of exciting new features aimed at different age groups ranging from toddlers to teenagers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The design of the 5,000-metre site will include quirky wooden structures, interactive water features, play trails and winding walkways.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Plans include a viewing platform, an interactive sensory garden walk, and an oversized kitchen garden-inspired secret play area - including giant carrots, sunflowers and plant pots.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">At the centre of the new attraction will be a replica of Vanbrugh\u2019s Grand Bridge and a large seating terrace overlooking the central water play feature.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">An elevated Wilderness Play area featuring aerial walkways, rope bridges, tunnels and triple racing zip lines will appeal to older children and provide extensive views across the \u2018Capability\u2019 Brown landscaped parkland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">There will also be a refreshment kiosk with outdoor seating.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The new adventure play area will utilise land adjoining the existing Walled Gardens area which is home to the Marlborough Hedge Maze, Butterfly House, Lavender Garden and Pizza Caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">About Blenheim Palace<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Home to the Dukes of Marlborough since 1705, Blenheim Palace was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Steeped in history, the magnificent Palace is surrounded with over 2,000 acres of \u2018Capability\u2019 Brown parkland and beautiful Formal Gardens. Palace is also the birthplace of one of Britain\u2019s most famous leaders, Sir Winston Churchill, and it was his father who described the vista on entering the Estate from the village of Woodstock as
